Feeling confused about policy at the state and federal levels? In today’s constantly changing policy landscape it is more important than ever to be well prepared to advocate for the needs of Montessori education at every level and in every policy arena.

This year, the AMS Regional Action Commission has invited MPPI to collaborate for a pre-conference session at TME on Thursday, March 13th from 2-5 PM. If you are concerned about new or existing policy that may or already does affect your program, this is the session for you! Whether you are new to policy advocacy work or already participating or leading work, this will be a valuable opportunity to get updates, make connections, and hone your skills, as well as a great networking opportunity!

For this session MPPI will co-present with two of AMS’ Regional Action Commissioners, Martha Teien (also our MPPI Board Chair!) and Saloni Mathur, on how RAC and MPPI work together to support Montessori friendly policy.  Join us and learn from those who have spent years advocating for greater accessibility for high-fidelity Montessori, and share your experiences with others as well!

Additionally, the MPPI staff will be the RAC networking sessions and we are ready to support you in your Montessori advocacy endeavors!
